LPS 1175 SR2 (B3) Security-Rated Mesh Fencing

SR2 (B3) MeshGuard is designed for projects requiring a higher level of forced-entry resistance than an SR1 (A1) perimeter. The complete system complies with LPS 1175 SR2 (B3) Issue 8 and BS 1722 Part 14.

The rigid panel uses single 4mm horizontal wires and 10mm vertical wires welded at every intersection. Its 76.2mm x 12.7mm close-aperture layout limits grip and access through the mesh while maintaining visibility across the protected perimeter.

Continuous steel clamp bars and a 60mm x 60mm x 5mm horizontal anti-tamper angle rail reinforce the system. Stainless-steel security fixings connect the mesh, rails, cleats and posts as part of the specified assembly.

Reinforced anti-tamper rail

A 60mm x 60mm x 5mm horizontal steel angle rail reinforces the mesh assembly and protects vulnerable connection points as part of the security-rated system.

Continuous clamp-bar fixing

Continuous 5mm-thick steel clamp bars, ranging from 80mm to 150mm wide according to the arrangement, secure the panel along the posts and help resist levering or unauthorised removal.

Clear perimeter visibility

The open mesh format preserves sightlines through the fence, supporting natural surveillance and CCTV monitoring around sensitive or restricted sites.

Durable galvanised and coated finish

Steel components are galvanised or pre-galvanised as specified and finished with a minimum 100-micron polyester powder coating. RAL 6005 Moss Green and RAL 9005 Black are the standard colours.
