Key Benefits of SR2 (B3) Mesh Fencing
The complete fencing system complies with LPS 1175 SR2 (B3) Issue 8, providing a recognised security classification for higher-risk perimeter specifications.
Single 4mm horizontal wires and substantial 10mm vertical wires form a rigid panel with 76.2mm x 12.7mm apertures. The narrow spacing helps restrict grip and access through the fence.
A 60mm x 60mm x 5mm horizontal steel angle rail reinforces the mesh assembly and protects vulnerable connection points as part of the security-rated system.
Continuous 5mm-thick steel clamp bars, ranging from 80mm to 150mm wide according to the arrangement, secure the panel along the posts and help resist levering or unauthorised removal.
The open mesh format preserves sightlines through the fence, supporting natural surveillance and CCTV monitoring around sensitive or restricted sites.
Steel components are galvanised or pre-galvanised as specified and finished with a minimum 100-micron polyester powder coating. RAL 6005 Moss Green and RAL 9005 Black are the standard colours.
