LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) Security-Rated 358 Mesh Fencing
SR1 (A1) 358 mesh fencing is designed for projects that require a defined level of resistance to forced entry together with clear visibility across the perimeter. The complete system complies with LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) Issue 8 and BS 1722 Part 14.

Where Can SR1 (A1) 358 Mesh Fencing Be Used?
This security-rated fencing system is suitable for sites where controlled access, close-aperture mesh and perimeter visibility are important. Typical applications include:
- Mental health facilities
- Utility and service-provider sites
- Prisons and custodial environments
- Sensitive data and communications facilities
- Commercial and industrial premises
- Infrastructure and restricted-access compounds
Key Benefits of SR1 (A1) 358 Mesh Fencing
The fencing system complies with LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) Issue 8, providing a recognised security classification for perimeter specifications and site-security strategies.
The 76.2mm x 12.7mm wire spacing creates a narrow mesh format that is difficult to grip. Single 4mm horizontal and vertical wires are welded at each intersection to form a secure, consistent panel.
The open mesh construction allows views through the fence, supporting natural surveillance and CCTV coverage around sensitive facilities and restricted areas.
A continuous 30mm x 5mm steel clamp bar secures the mesh to the posts. Stainless-steel cup-square bolts, shear nuts and washers help protect the panel-to-post connection against unauthorised removal.
The steel components are galvanised or pre-galvanised as specified and finished with polyester powder coating. The standard colours are RAL 6005 Moss Green and RAL 9005 Black.
Nominal fence heights range from 1800mm to 5200mm, allowing the system to be configured for a variety of commercial, custodial, industrial and infrastructure environments.
